CJHL names its Gongshow Gear 3 Stars for November
MHL’s MacDonald, AJHL’s Hughes & LHJAAAQ’s Latendresse earn monthly laurels

CALGARY, Alta. – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Thursday that the trio of Josh MacDonald (Summerside Western Capitals/MHL), T.J. Hughes (Brooks Bandits/AJHL) and Frédérick Latendresse, (F) Collège Français de Longueuil (LHJAAAQ) have been named its Gongshow Gear 3 Stars of the Month for November.

1ST STAR: JOSH MACDONALD, (F) SUMMERSIDE WESTERN CAPITALS (MHL) – The 20-year-old Cornwall, P.E.I., product had an amazing month, etching his name on the game sheet in all 10 outings he appeared in, racking up 27 points in the process on a Maritime Hockey League-leading 15 goals to go along with a dozen assists.

The Western Capitals captain also notched a trio of game-winning tallies and had five multi-goal outings, including a pair of hat tricks as well as one power play and a shorthanded marker.

Having only been held pointless once so far this season, MacDonald has provided 13 multi-point performances to date on the season.

Currently riding a 16-game point streak, he leads all MHL skaters in markers (22) and points (44) through 23 contests.

Congrats Josh!
