How to Play / Rules & Regulations
The Summerside Western Capitals will be hosting a 50/50 Raffle at all home games during the season. This game day fundraiser provides fans the opportunity to raffle tickets before and during all Capitals home games. One lucky winner will be selected each game, winning half of the total pot.
How to Participate
To purchase 50/50 tickets, there will be kiosks located around the track of the rink, as well as 50/50 sellers who will walk around the arena. Additionally, fans located in Prince Edward Island can participate online using the link above. An update of the 50/50 total jackpot will be displayed during the games. The raffle and winner will be drawn towards the start of the third period.
Winner Announcement & How to Claim your Prize
The winning 50/50 number will be announced at the beginning of the third period. The winner will be able to claim their prize at the 50/50 kiosk located near the main entrance of the Island Petroleum Arena. If the guest with the winning ticket did not claim the prize during the game, or had bought their 50/50 tickets online, they may call 902-439-8654 or email capsarmy33@gmail.com to claim their prize. Winners will have 30 days to claim their prize. All winning 50/50 numbers are announced at the games, and are posted under the Community- 50/50 tab on our website.
Official Rules & Regulations
- The jackpot for the raffle shall be total proceeds from the raffle tickets sold for the given draw. The jackpot will be updated continuously throughout the draw and posted publicly on our website.
- The raffle is only open to those persons who are located in the province of Prince Edward Island and participants must be 19 years of age or older.
- Employees of the Summerside Western Capitals are excluded from ticket purchase.
- Volunteers can purchase tickets as long as they are not working the 50/50 event that they are purchasing for.
- In-person ticket purchasing will be sold at designated kiosks located around the rink, as well as by 50/50 sellers roaming the arena.
- Online tickets can be purchased using the link above.
- Winning numbers will be announced at the beginning of the third period. The number will be displayed and announced in the arena, while it will also be posted to our website.
- Winners will have 30 days to claim their prize after which time the winners amount will be applied to balance paid to license beneficiaries.
- Those who win our 50/50 raffles will be posted to our website.
- All sales are final, there are no refunds.
