Caps shock Slammers

SUMMERSIDE – Junior hockey can provide a roller-coaster of emotions, and there was no better example of that than Monday night.
The Summerside Western Capitals, who were 92 seconds away from going down 2-0 in the best-of-seven Roger Meek Division final series, scored two late goals to edge the Woodstock Slammers 4-3 at Credit Union Place.
β€œIt had everything that an intense playoff game offers,” said Capitals head coach Gordie Dwyer.
