Cormier and Griffin selected with 2026 Territorial Selections at MHL Draft

The Summerside Western Capitals are pleased to announce the selection of Riley Cormier and Cam Griffin as our Territorial Selections for the 2026 Maritime Hockey League Draft.

Cormier, a 5’10”, 165-pound left winger from the Kensington Wild Major U18 program, recorded 25 points in 48 total games during the 2025–26 season and was recently selected by the Gatineau Olympiques in the 11th Round of the 2026 QMJHL Draft.

Griffin, a 6’2″, 170-pound forward, enjoyed a standout season with the Kensington Wild, posting 71 points (31G, 40A) in 53 total games.

The Western Capitals would like to welcome Riley, Cam, and their families to the organization.

The remainder of the 2026 MHL Draft will take place Saturday, June 20 in Campbellton, New Brunswick beginning at 10:00 AM.
