CENTENNIAL CLASSIC IS BACK

The Summerside Western Capitals have once again partnered with the Centennial Auto Group to bring you the Centennial Classic. This year the event will take place on Wednesday, January 30th
at 7pm as the Capitals host the Pictou County Weeks Crushers. Centennial Auto Group has purchased 2,000 tickets for the game and will be releasing information in January on how to claim your free tickets.

Last year saw the inaugural event with just over 2,200 fans attended the game in which the Capitals won 5-2 over the Truro Bearcats. “We are so grateful for Centennial Auto Group and our corporate support in Summerside and across the island that allow us to offer such a great game for our fans. The Centennial Classic was a highlight of our season last year and we are very excited to have it back once again. We hope to have over 3,000 in attendance for the game this year.” -GM Pat McIver

The Capitals have started another winning streak, and currently sit at 3 games after defeating the Grand Falls Rapids 5-2 this past Saturday night. Next action for the Capitals is this Thursday, in Pictou and then back home on Saturday night to take on the St. Stephen Aces.
