Caps Win OT Thriller on Armed Forces Night

The Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford came from behind to defeat the Campbellton Tigers in thrilling fashion as the newest addition to the Western Capitals Sullivan Sparkes had both goals in a 2-1 OT win. The Western Capitals invited all armed forces, past and present to attend the game on Saturday free of charge. “With Remembrance Day being the following day, we wanted to show a token of our apprecation and invite them to the game, it was a special moment after the game, one I’ll never forget.” -GM Pat McIver after the game all the armed forces came onto the ice and joined the Capitals & staff for a picture, a great gesture and keep sake.

The Western Capitals were once again ranked 7th place in the country in the latest CJHL rankings, they have a light schedule this week as they hit the road on Friday to take on the St. Stephen Aces in their lone game.
