SUMMERSIDE - The Bridgewater Lumberjacks scored three unanswered goals over
a span of 7:18 in the third period to stage a 4-2 come-from-behind win over
the Summerside Western Capitals on Sunday night.
Mickey MacDonald (10:25), Sam MacCormick (13:10) and Scott Theriault (17:43)
keyed the Lumberjacks' rally in the Maritime Junior 'A' Hockey League game.
Mike Snow also scored for Bridgewater (20-22-4-2).
In other weekend action, the Capitals dropped a 6-3 decision to the
Miramichi Timberwolves on Saturday night.
Before 626 fans at Credit Union Place, Will Johnston (1-1) and Chad Earle
had staked the Caps to a 2-0 first-period lead against Bridgewater.
The Caps led 2-1 after the first and second periods.
Overall, the Lumberjacks outshot the Caps 32-29. Winning goaltender was
Philip Wright and Alexander Micalef was in goal for the Caps (25-20-1-1).
